Verna Marian Pitcher

Verna Marian Pitcher – Loving Wife of the late Marvin Leroy Pitcher for 45 years; devoted Mother of the late Marvin (Lestra) Pitcher, Terry (Lori) Pitcher, and Pam (David) McClelland; beloved Grandmother of Aimee, Andy, Doug, Jenny, and Alex; cherished Great-Grandmother of Skylar, Ashley, Bradly, Kai, Nash, Kalea, Reed, Amelia, Ellie, Nico, Ericka, and Peyton. Passed away peacefully on August 3, 2020 at the age of 95.

Verna owned and operated a driving range in Ross with her family for many years. She loved the beaches in Florida and watching golf. What made Verna happiest was being surrounded by her family and her family cherish many fond memories of the trips they took with her to Gatlinburg, Indian Lake, and to Florida.  She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 6:00 PM leading to the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home (Mt. Healthy), 7345 Hamilton Ave. Mt Healthy, OH 45231. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to her funeral fund with Paul R. Young Funeral Home to defray funeral cost.
