Terry L. Thompson, age 72, passed away peacefully at home on the evening of July 31, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on May 18, 1954, in Wabash County, Indiana, Terry was the beloved son of the late Fred Thompson and Marilyn Thompson-Flora (Brubaker). Terry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, whose love for his family was evident in everything he did. With a remarkable career that spanned 31 years at North Manchester Foundry, he later found fulfillment at Zimmer Biomet in Warsaw, Indiana, before retiring. Terry had a passion for life—he cherished spending time outdoors, enjoyed golfing, took great pride in tending to his lawn, and loved to travel. He was also a member of Mill Road Church of Christ in Cincinnati and an enthusiastic supporter of the Indiana Hoosiers. He leaves behind his cherished wife of 47 years, Vickie Thompson (Hayes); loving children, Briana (Gary Jr.) McCarary and Travis (Kristie) Thompson; grandchildren Emmalynn, Elliana, Nova, and Blake; brother, Fred (Debbie) Thompson, along with his nieces and nephews, Jarrod, Shilo, Luke, Jessica, Melissa, and Natalie. Terry was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation to honor Terry's life will take place at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, located at 7345 Hamilton Ave, Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231, on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
