Ron was born to Edalyn (nee Spencer) and Ernest Rodenbeck in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 25, 1946. He is the beloved husband of Sharon (nee Miller); devoted father of Jeff (Angie) Rodenbeck, Jennifer (Jeff) Runck and Jason (Holly) Rodenbeck; cherished grandfather of Brennan Newhouse, Justin (Ashley) Runck, Jordan (J.C.) Owens, Jacob Runck, Logan Rodenbeck, Luke Rodenbeck and great-grandfather of Levi Runck, Jace Runck and Baylor Owens; dear brother of Lynn Rodenbeck and Kim (Doug) Adams, also survived by sister-in-law Marilyn (Ron) Mandery, and Uncle of Ryan Adams, Carly Adams, Josh Mandery, Megan (Mike) Keller, Travis (Jessica) Mandery, and their loving families.
Ron was someone that never met a stranger; through the years, all his friends quickly became part of the family. He had many interests and hobbies that included collecting and working on cars, motorcycles, campers and boats. He was known for telling great stories and jokes, and he also loved music. More than anything, Ron loved spending time with his family and being a dad and grandpa. His most contented moments were spent with Sharon, especially when they were together in Emerald Isle, NC with their beach family.
