Margaret "Maggie Mae" Mae (Sutton) Higgs

Margaret Mae (Sutton) Higgs, age 78, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 2, 2026 at a health care facility. She was born October 25, 1947 in Harlan, Kentucky and throughout her life she remained steadfast in her faith. Looking forward to the promise of eternity with her heavenly father.  

Margaret shared 63.5 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Larry. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and trusting the Lord.  

She is survived by her husband, Larry D Higgs Sr.; sons James Higgs (Kimberly) of Cinti, OH, Timothy Higgs (Polly) of Cleveland, TN, Steven Higgs of Cleveland, TN; daughter Karen Bradford of  Cinti, OH; sisters Darlene (Sutton) Glisson (Jerry) of Cinti, OH, Connie Gamble of Hamilton, OH; brother Tommie Sutton Jr. (Sharon) of Eastgate, OH; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Della Sutton of Cinti, OH; son Larry D Higgs Jr, of New Richmond, OH; sister Evelyn (Sutton) Cox of Harlan, KY; brother Glenn C Sutton (Libby) of Simpsonville, SC; grandson Craig M Karr of Cleveland, TN.

Her visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6th from 6 to 8 pm at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Her Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 7th at 11:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
