KALE STEELE McARTER
March 1, 1965 - January 6, 2022

FAIRFIELD - Kale was born in Richland Parish, Louisiana to Florence (nee Copeland) and James McArter on March 1, 1965 and passed away in the early morning hours on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Kale was the dear father of Shayla (Calvin) Staggs, Jessie (Heather) Perkins and Ashley Jones. He had several beloved grandchildren and cherished nephews and nieces. Kale was also the cherished brother of many brothers and sisters who will deeply miss him. 

Kale was a Master Electrician who dreamed of someday heading west to the mountains of Colorado. He enjoyed fishing and was an automobile aficionado, knowing and loving everything to do with cars, trucks, Nascar, vintage cars and the engines and mechanics that fueled them all. 

A memorial service for Kale will be held at 3 pm on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 3950 Pleasant Avenue in Hamilton.
