James Edward Hoelle

James was born to Lorraine (nee Kolbenstetter) and Leo Hoelle on October 14, 1935 and passed away peacefully after a brief illness on April 4, 2026. He's the beloved husband of Janet (nee Heitfield), married April 15, 1961; devoted father of Brian (Melody) Hoelle, Beverly (the late Michael) Goins and Mark (Sandy) Hoelle; cherished grandfather of Brandon, Katie (Kevin), Kyle (Hannah), Stephanie (Jake), Brianna and Grace; loving great grandfather of Hunter, Elsie, Lincoln, Penelope and Elliot; and dear brother of Warren Hoelle. James was preceded in death by his son-in-law Michael Goins, his parents Leo and Lorraine Hoelle, and his siblings Elaine Haubner, Herbert Hoelle, Esther Haubner, Ronnie and Russell Hoelle. 

James faithfully served his country as a Marine in the United States Marine Corps and was also proudly employed with Miami University and the United States Postal Service. He and Janet have been longtime members of their beloved church in Oxford, St. Mary Catholic Church. A service for James will be held privately by the family.
