Geraldine Lucas

Geraldine Martha Lucas (nee Miller). Loving wife of the late Ronald F. Lucas for 62 years. She was the daughter of the late Howard Miller and Midred Powdrell (nee Hammitt) and step father George Powdrell. Born on August 15, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dear mother of Cynthia (Phil) Brown, Kimberly (Todd) Powers, and Scott (Amy) Lucas. Sister of Allen (Lynn) Powdrell and the late Judy (John) Ruehl. Sister in law to the late Thomas (late Ginger) Lucas. Grandmother to Sherri Carpenter, Lucas (Erin) Brown, Jocelyn (Tim) Chapman-Higgins, Stephanie (Sean) Magee, Hanna Lucas, Anthony Fryer, and Alex Fryer. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Gerry enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. Especially cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean. She is a lifelong Cincinnati Reds fan. She loved going to spring training and attended many regular season games. She also followed the Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati football and basketball.

Gerry’s life was driven by faith. She was an active member of St. Paul Community of Faith Church where she has been a member since she was a teenager.

She will be very missed by her friends and family.

Visitation on March 27, 2026 11:30 AM at St. Paul Community of Faith Church 5312 Old Blue Rock Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45247. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1 PM. She will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
