Elizabeth Ann (Claire) Melampy

ELIZABETH ANN (CLAIRE) MELAMPY
March 23, 1939 - June 24, 2022
Ann was born in Birmingham, Alabama on March 23, 1939, to Lillian (nee Kendall) and James E. Frost. Her family later relocated to the Cincinnati area where she grew up and graduated from St. Bernard. Ann graduated high school on a Friday and started a four-decade career with the Ford Motor Company the following Monday. It was there that she met her husband, Chuck Melampy, of 28 years.
Ann is the beloved wife of Chuck Melampy; dear stepmother of Kim (Don) Brockman, Ken Melampy, Kelli (Wiley Hutcherson) Loos and Kiki (Steve) Greiwe; loving grandmother of Jami, Alix, Doug, Danny, Lindsey, Melissa and Matt and great-grandmother of Logan, Wade and Mason; dear sister of Lillian Gayle Overbey; loving aunt of Dennis (JoAnn) Hewitt and Darryl (Barbara) Hewitt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Don Claire, and brother George "Jack" Frost and sister Hazel Hewitt.
