Anita Louise Turner

Anita Turner, age 50 of Oxford, Ohio passed away at her residence on Friday, May 26, 2023 surrounded by her family. Anita was born April 12, 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Estil and Carol (Davidson) Turner. Anita was long time employee at Great American Ballpark, where she loved seeing the long time season ticket holders year after year. Anita was an avid collector of Care Bears. If you asked Anita, she would tell you she had around 400 of them. We say she had them all. She loved watching the sunsets, and spending time with her faithful canine companions, AppleJack and Cinnamon .

Those who knew Anita, can tell you she had an infectious smile that would light up a room. Anita was always there when you needed a kind word, a helping hand. Or just someone talk to.

Preceded in death by her parents, Anita leaves behind her fiance Eli Taylor; son Thomas Gross; daughter Ashleigh Gross; brother Chris Turner; as well many aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 1st, 2023 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon, all at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, Ohio. Interment will immediately follow the service in Woodside Cemetery in Oxford.
