Naples - William G. "Bill" Fridman, 76 of Naples, FL died Sept. 28, 2018. Born Nov. 12, 1941 in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Bert and Mary (Saylor) Fridman. Bill was a graduate of Ball State and received his Masters Degree from Xavier University. On September 7th, William celebrated his 20th year with his transplanted heart. An extraordinary coach and teacher, Bill worked at Mt. Healthy High School (Cincinnati) where he served as the Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, and Teacher of Math and Physical Education. In addition, he worked as Head Coach of Varsity and JV Football. He also coached basketball, track, and baseball. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Sandy Shipp Fridman; daughters, Melissa Crocket and Allyson (Keith WIlson) Fridman; stepchildren, Kent and Karla Hochscheid; grandchildren, Alexandra, Sydney, Steven, Ryan, Nate and Tyler; great grandchildren, Ethan, Brady, Cambren and Aabrielle; and nieces, Robin McQueen, Kim Krause, and Donna Sharpe. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou Benge. A Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 27th, from 11 AM until time of the Memorial Service at 1 PM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
