Mary Lou Heiden (nee Seitz)

Finneytown - Mary Louise (Seitz) Heiden, 97, passed away, peacefully, on June 28, 2019 at Bridgeway Pointe, on a beautiful, sunny, summer morning (her favorite season and time of day). She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Louis Heiden for 50 years and devoted to her daughters, Janet Heiden and Carol Voss, as well as to her son-in-law, John Voss. She cherished her granddaughters, Sarah (Adam) Mitchell and Emily Marcelle. She was a loving great-grandma (a.k.a. “GG”) to Tyler Marcelle and Jack Mitchell. She treasured time with family, especially her late brother, William Seitz, Jr., and his wife, Vernie (Dick) Seitz. She was extremely grateful for her in-laws Hilda “Toots” (Heiden) Rau, her husband, the late Bill Rau and the late Dorothy (Heiden) O’Leary-Ernst. She loved her nieces and nephews, appreciating all of their individual personalities and talents. She was a long-time member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in North College Hill. She was very thankful for her family, friends, and neighbors, and especially had a heart for those in need. Giving selflessly to others, quietly and without fanfare, best represented her character.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd from 10 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 11 AM at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 6997 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45231. Interment will immediately follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
