James "Jim" Lee George

Beloved husband of the late Joann George (nee Chapman) for 51 years. Devoted  father of  Cindy (Tony Chaike) George, Eric (Leah) George, Alicia (Alan) Buterbaugh, Tom (Trisha) George and Greg George. Cherished grandfather of Catherine Chaike, Angela (Joshua) McGuire, Matthew (Alexis) George,  Christopher and Lucas Buterbaugh, and Tommy and Andy George. Great-grandfather of Adelyn, Nora, Christopher and Lily. Dear brother of the late Norma Jean Talboom.  A loving longtime companion of Emma Jean Haverkos. Jim passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Jim retired from Cincinnati Electronics after 35 years of service and was a 20-year member of Ohio Horse Shoe Pitchers Association. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8th from 12PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:30PM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231. Interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to American Lung Association.
