Elizabeth Howard

Lizz Howard of Oxford, Ohio passed away on Nov. 21, 2018.  Lizz was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 29, 1961, to Hager Howard and Allegra Faye (Dingus) Howard.  She grew up in Morrow, Ohio and attended Wright State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.  She later earned a Master’s Degree in Systems Analysis from Miami University.  Starting in 1994, Lizz taught in the Systems Analysis and later Computer and Information Technology departments of the Miami University Regional Campuses.  In addition to her passion for helping others learn, Lizz also enjoyed gardening and traveling.

Lizz is survived by her husband of 21 years, David Woods, sister Deborah Schindler and husband Jerry, brother Philip Howard and wife Berta, sister Angela Howard and husband Doug, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 8 at 1 PM at the Oxford Presbyterian Church Seminary building, which is at the corner of N. Poplar Street and E. Church St. in Oxford, OH.
