BECKETT

Dorothy Jane of Hanover Township, passed on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at McCullough Hyde Hospital surrounded by her family. Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Donald (Rebecca) Beckett of Darrtown and Darrell (Dawana) Beckett of Hanover Township, ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald and her loving daughter, Dianna L. Beckett. Dorothy was born on October 25, 1924 to Ellis and Ethel (Tully) Glordan. After growing up in Darrtown, she married Donald H. Beckett on December 29, 1940 in Covington, KY. They were married 70 years. Dorothy was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a great great grandmother. After 25 years of being a bus driver, she retired in 1993 from Talawanda School District. She enjoyed her flowers, mowing her grass, cooking for her family and watching sports with her husband. Funeral services are private. Memorial donations may be made to McGonigle Methodist Church, 2370 Lanes Mill Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
