Deanna (Dee) K. (Tharp) Black

Deanna (Dee) K. Black, age 80, passed away on October 6, 2019. She married the late, William Black in 1974 and they were married for 43 years. She is survived by her daughters, Melony Stamper, Gail (Hank) Schumacher, Lynn (Melinda) McSparrin, and her sons, Bob Black and Mike Black. Also survived by her grandchildren, Tara Hetterich, Ashlee Hetterich, Gary Hetterich III, Matthew Black, Grady and Benjamin Jean, Steven and James Schumacher, and Bridger Black and her brother, Fr. Larry Tharp and very special friend, Prescova (Pepsi) Root.

Preceded in death by her husband, William Black, her parents, Harvey and Ruby Tharp and her step-mother, Rosina Tharp and a son, Mark Snodderly and a special aunt and uncle, Shirley and Art (Unkie) Vollmer.

Dee loved to cross stitch and do coloring art and was an avid reader. A great cook and baker. She loved animals. Dee retired from being a dental assistant for over 30 years.

Funeral services are private for family and friends. Donations may be given to the Animal Friends Humane Society, 1820 Princeton Pike, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
